We have several fund raising activities this year. We have a few goals this
year:
1) purchase and repair equipment
2) purchase music
3) travel to a festival this spring
August--
Our first fund raiser (if it is approved), will be selling "coupon cards."
The cards sell for $10, and the group keeps $5.
We need a volunteer or two to keep track of the cash.
October--
Cookie Dough sales.
We make 40% on the sales.
November or December--
Renaissance Carnival at TJHS
Host a dance, in which the orchestra and band play some of the tunes.
Ideas are welcome. In November there is a week-end craft fair. This could
be an opportunity that could be used, if anyone has ideas of what we can do
or sell. A car wash, painting house numbers on curbs, moonlight
serenades ?? -- let's put our heads together.
