The children are doing well with the new math program. We are working on
multiplication and division and will move into time and measurement soon. In
social studies we are exploring the Midwest and are creating a suitcase
project about its natural resources,climate, landforms, and
animals/vegetation. We will move into the West next. In spelling we are
practicing homophones, suffixes and consonant y words. In writing, we are
adding conversations, character feelings, new vocabulary words,similes, and
action. Next in science,the children will learn about nutrition and the water
cycle. Please continue practicing addition, subtraction, multiplication and
division facts with your children. It is a big help!!!!!
