assignment - Due Nov. 16.

10/20/09 - Finish the reading assigned Monday.
10/19/09 - Complete chart and first reason and facts on Power Outline sheet -
due tomorrow. Read the remaining four chapters for Wed. There will be a
reading quiz on Wed. If you write chapter notes - three events each chapter -
you can use them on the quiz.
10/16/09 - none
10/15/09 - Finish ch. 18 and 19. Write chapter notes - three important
events from each chapter.
10/14/09 - Finish memory brainstorm. Brainstorm should include details of
the memories. Write a journal entry describing the memory and why it is so
important to you (one and a half page min. in composition book). Remember,
this is the only memory you would be allowed to keep.
10/13/09 - Read chapters 16 and 17. Write end notes - three important events
for each chapter.
10/8/09 - PowePoint Projects Due tomorrow. You must bring them in on a flash
drive tomorrow, or email them to me by 8:00 tonight. Print out a copy of
your slides (black and white). Don't forget to bring your rubric to class
also.
10/6/09- Final PowerPoint projects due Friday. This is a change from
Thursday.
10/05/09 - Read 13,14 and 15 for Wed. Jot down some important information on
sticky notes. Notes not required, although strongly suggested. You can use
them for Wednesday's activities if you have them.

9/29/09 - Read ch. 11 and 12. Answer two questions - due Thursday.
9/21/09 - Finish the reading and questions from class (ch.7 and 8).

9/17/09 - Vocabulary quiz tomorrow.
9/14/09 - Finish reading ch. 4. If you were assigned a vocabulary word for
ch. 3 or 4, make sure to complete your vocabulary illustration. Vocabulary
quiz on Friday.
9/10/09- Finish the questions for chapter 1 of The Giver. Read ch. 2 and
answer the questions.
9/4/09 - Most of you finished the character trading cards in class. If you
didn't, please finish. Make sure you have handed in both the trading card and
the wordle jumble.
9/3/09 - Complete character sheet. Use your summer reading book to answer
the questions. Do not use Home of the Brave.
