 How can I study?
Going over your vocabulary flashcards is one way.
Also, writing the vocabulary CORRECTLY is a GREAT way to study.
AN ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS WAY IS BY GOING TO MY WEBSITE 
AND PRACTICING YOUR VOCABULARY USING THE VARIOUS ACTIVITIES 
PROVIDED INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO Electronic Vocabulary Flashcards and
Electronic Vocabulary Matching Games.

 Will quizzes be announced ahead of time?
Not always.  
Since my students are responsible and on notice to study vocabulary EACH 
AND EVERY NIGHT, students will have pop quizzes at times as well as 
announced quizzes.
ALSO, Open book quizzes are given at times.

 Is gum chewing allowed during class?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!  
However, there is one exception which is during tests and tests only, 
students are allowed to chew gum QUIETLY.

 Are students required to bring their Expresate 1 textbook and workbook?
TEXTBOOKS = NO.  They are to be kept at home for the year.

WORKBOOKS = YES, once the sections of the workbook are given out, YOU ARE 
REQUIRED TO KEEP THOSE SECTIONS OF THE WORKBOOK in your binder and bring your
binder EVERY DAY, unless specifically told otherwise by Profesora Berman.

 When looking in Pinnacle, what does a Z mean
If you see a Z when looking at Pinnacle, it means that the student was absent
the day on which a specific activity was either done in class or homework that
was due on that day.  A Z is calculated as a zero and if the absence is an
excused absence the student has 2 days to make up the work and hand in to teacher.
In the case of a quiz or test, Makeups will be given in class, per the B.C.
Code of Student Conduct.
