Mrs. Marx, a National Board Certified Teacher who holds a Masters degree in
English, began her teaching career eleven years ago here at Paxon School for
Advanced Studies. During her tenure, she has taught English I, English III,
and AP Literature and Composition, along with a variety of elective
courses. Additionally, she served three years as the school standards coach
and three terms on the shared decision-making team. Mrs. Marx sponsors
Bible Club, co-sponsors the senior class, and serves as the graduation
coordinator. Most recently, she has been appointed as one of two Magnet
Lead Teachers for the school.
Outside of school, Mrs. Marx enjoys reading, writing poetry, riding her
horse, serving her church, spending time with her family, exercising
outdoors, and basking in the sun.
Paxon's mission is to prepare students for post-secondary education by
graduating self-disciplined, honest, critical thinkers who have a global
perspective and a commitment to excellence.
