Days - the First Friday of each month. Students are encouraged
to show their school spirit by wearing their school spirit
shirts. During inclement weather, this will be cancelled.
GRANDPARENT'S DAY
NEW DATE!!! Grandparent's Day will be on Thurday, October 22nd.
This is a Knights Out day for our students. All grandparents and
adopted grandparents are invited to visit their grandchildren at
school, enjoy refreshments and meet the faculty and staff.
We look forward to meeting you and sharing our Trintiy experience
with you.
FELLOWSHIP DINNER
The Fellowship Dinner this year will be held on Friday night,
November 20, 2009.
It is a wonderful evening of fellowship for the entire family.
The evening's meal is prepared and served by volunteers in the
parish hall. The date and price of the event will be advertised
in the newsletter.
Join other Trinity families for a family night out in a relaxed
atmoshphere. The winners of the Fall Into Cash Raffle will be
announced at this event.
HOSPITALITY
The hospitality committee is a very busy committee whose goal is
to welcome and say thank you from the parents of Trinity. Their
events include breakfast on Orientation day, a wonderful
teacher/faculty Christmas party, refreshments during Open House,
teacher appreciation luncheon, student appreciation day and a
host of other functions.
A wonderful way to get involved to show your appreciation to our
teachers, faculty, students and other parents.
Please contact the individual committee chairs to volunteer.
FALL FESTIVAL
What would the Fall be without a festival? An annual event held
during the school day with games for all ages. The festival is
held just before Halloween on October 30th and is enjoyed by the
students, faculty and parents.
Plan to buy your tickets early for the price of 5 for $1.
Tickets are sold before school and during lunch the week of
October 27th - 29th. If you purchase your tickets on the day of
the festival they will be 4 for $1.
See you there!
NEW FAMILIES
The New Families program started in 2002 pairing new families
with an existing family to give the new family someone to call
and talk to during their first year at Trinity. The goal of this
program is to make the transition into Trinity easier by
assigning a family with children of the same age currently in
Trinity available for questions/answers to the new family.
UNIFORM CLOSET
The uniform closet is available for all families enabling them to
purchase quality used uniforms. You may also trade-in your used
uniforms for new sizes.
The uniform shop is open on Thursdays from 1:00pm - 2:00pm. If
you need to make special arrangements, please contact Kathy McCoy.
The uniform closet is located behind the Media Center at the end
of the walkway on the basement floor level of the Middle School
building.
BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS
The Building and Grounds committee works with the school
administration and maintenance to assist them in projects to
improve our school.
Weekend workdays are scheduled throughout the year requiring
parent volunteers to complete the assigned task.
The committee has been working to improve the appearance of our
school by replacing the existing mulch on the Kindergarten
playground and replacing it with the rubberized mulch.
If you are interested in helping to make our school look more
beautiful, please contact the "Green Thumb Parent" in your
child's class.
Contact Julie Coffey for more information.
It is our goal to assist when needed and provide funds when
necessary to maintain and improve the physical appearance of
Trinity Catholic.
TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK
This is a special week that we take time to recognize our
teachers through special treats, notes and a luncheon. This year
we will celebrate our teachers April 27th - 30th.
FIRST COMMUNION RECEPTION
First Holy Communion is the first sacrament that we celebrate
together at Trinity. Following the First Communion Mass on May
6th, the 3rd grade parents will host a reception for the 2nd
graders and their families.
RAFFLE
Trinity's first annual cash raffle fundraiser will be held in the
fall. Tickets will be distributed to and sold by all Trinity
families. Assistance is needed to collect and count tickets and
coordinate ticket sales at local parishes.
