Our Holiday Party will be Thursday, December 22nd at 11:45 am to 1:00 pm. Please send in a small monetary donation to go towards pizza and other party treats. We are combining our party with Mr. Lamb's class. Hoping to make this a fun time for the students.

Fall Festival is this Saturday, October 22nd. I have received a new Kodak EasyShare Camera for our class basket from my husband's work. Our basket will be based on this great donation. Please look for and bid on our basket at the Silent Auction.
Also, thank you to Mrs. Long and Mrs. Christopher for donating baked goods to our Cake Walk. We will be accepting donations on Friday, October 21st in the cafeteria. If you wish to donate additional items, please contact me.

We will have a meeting for anyone wanting to volunteer for the 5th grade end of year activities on Tuesday, April 26 at 1:15 in the Teachers' Lounge. If you would like to volunteer but are unable to make the meeting, please contact me at phyllis.darling@comcast.net. Due to the lack of space, only parent volunteers will be allowed to attend the cookout and the luncheon.

Teacher Appreciation Week is next week. We will be doing things a little different than the rest of the school, especially on Tuesday, March 15th, flower day. Please check your child's back pack for a letter from me to be sent home tomorrow. It will have everything for the week. I am in need of 3 volunteers for Wednesday, March 16th. I need someone to cover the classroom for 1/2 hour after lunch so that Mr. Bridges can enjoy a full hour at the Teacher's Luncheon. I also need 2 people to send in desserts for that day. Our Holiday Party will be Friday, December 17th 11:30-12:45. We will have Wiis, Karaoke and games. We will be combining the party with Mr. Lamb's class. If you have any games or Wiis that we can borrow, please let me know. Also, we have a karaoke machine, but could use some karaoke CDs.

If you have not sent in your child's information, please do so. I will wait until at least the following week to put the directory together.

Please check your children's folders. I have sent home 2 items to be returned. The first is the one time donation letter for the entire school year for Mr. Bridges' class. Please fill out and return the bottom portion in an envelope with your donation.
The second is for the class directory. Please fill them out and return as soon as possible. We will be putting together a directory for both Mr. Bridges' and Mr. Lamb's classes.
Also, if you are available for making copies on Mondays, please let me know. As soon as I get Mr. Lamb's copy parents, we will put together a schedule.

We are in need of Copy Moms/Dads. You will be making copies for both Mr. Bridges and Mr. Lamb. There will also be parents from Mr. Lamb's classroom helping out as well. They would prefer someone on Mondays. Please let me know if you can help. After I get the list of volunteers from both classrooms, I will set up a schedule.
On Tuesday, August 24th, we will be making our Bridges' Bulldogs t-shirts. We will have from 12:00-12:55. Please come and help if you can! I also would love some ideas prior to Tuesday. Email or call me if you have any ideas or can help.
Fall Festival will be coming up soon. As you can tell, I usually start getting ideas early! It is always helpful to start the basket around some sort of donation. If anyone has anything that can be donated, please let me know. Donations may include any tickets to sporting events, restaurants, any service, gift cards, etc.
