Parents - Due to the fact that the CRCT is 1 day after we get back from
break, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you keep your normal bed and wake-up
hours. All of our tests will start at 8:15 so getting up at their normal
time would be very beneficial.
I also sent home a packet of math CRCT practice tests. They have a calendar
to keep up with how much they need to study over the break. Hopefully our
break will not be like this in years to come.
March 30th -
I sent home each child's login for the practice CRCT site that is located on
the LINKS ICON. You will need this 10 digit code and the password - EDUCATION
Some students have already used these tests, but I would recommend to have
your child do the reading tests each day of Spring Break. I will be sending
home a small packet for math. They can also take these tests and look at
their PPT to study.
March 25th -
Parents - I had a BRAIN CRAMP yesterday and forgot to send home the
registration form with the packets. I sent that home today.
The kids are starting to get information and goodies from their colleges!!
Very fun to get things in the mail. They need to fill out the information on
each college and see how hard it is to get into those universities.

Make sure your child starts to review their math each weekend. CRCT is just
around the corner. We covered circumference and area of a circle. They
should know the formulas for a rectangle, parellelogram, triangle, compound
figure, and circles.

GEORGIA WRITING ASSESSMENT will be this WEDNESDAY!!!
We will be writing to colleges and universities this week. We will correlate
the CRCT and SAT to show how important standardized tests are in the college
process. Also, we will discuss how AC classes in middle school can help you
as you get into high school. It is a fun activity, and many colleges give
out cool items from their school.
February 18th -
We had a stock broker come in today and speak to the class. The kids really
enjoyed their experience. Thanks to Mr. Avery.
The GEORGIA WRITING ASSESSMENT will be the Wednesday we get back from break -
March 2nd. The kids have 6 essays to practice from over the small week
break.
Also, PLEASE have your child look over their math from this year. Anything
that we have covered should be reviewed. Believe it or not, we have only 6
weeks until the CRCT!!!
