Dear Parents and Students,
It is hard to believe it is almost Thanksgiving. I know we are all ready
for a well deserved break. We are proud of how hard all of the children are
working at completing homework in a timely manner. We are still working on
checking homework for accuracy and neatness though.
We are excited about our upcoming immigration project, it is always fun
for the students and the parents. They have been given some class time to
work on them but most of the work needs to be done at home. It may be helpful
to set up a timeline with your child to make sure he/she is not rushing
towards the due date to complete the necessary work. The projects will be due
on November 11th and "Immigration Day" will be on the 12th. I will be asking
for some parent volunteers in the near future to help out with this Ellis
Island simulation.
Once again, thank you for your continued support at home.
Thank you for your time,
Jennifer Reardon and Sarah Brown
