I taught kindergarten for three years and this is my 14th year
teaching first grade. This is my seventh year at Sarah Smith and I am
looking forward to another wonderful year! I encourage parental involvement
in my classroom and know that by working together the children will thrive
and grow.
My goal is to make sure that each student in my class is being challenged
and is meeting his or her individual goals. I believe that maintaining a
safe, happy, and nurturing atmosphere allows students to reach their
potential. I want us to learn, grow, respect and enjoy each other. It is
extremely important to me for the children to come together as a team and
support one another. We will nurture this relationship by recognizing
individual strenghts and sharing our gifts with each other.
