What can I do to help my child's reading fluency and comprehension?

There are many things you can do to help.  Listen to your child read aloud, 
read aloud to your child, and ask your child comprehension questions.  
Also, ask your child to retell what he/she has read.

What do I need to do if my child is absent?

If your child is absent due to an illness, please call the office as soon as 
possible, or send a note when your child returns to school.  If you would 
like to pick up your child's assignments, please leave a message in the 
office by 8:30. The work will be ready for you to pick up by 3:00.

Please have your child call his/her homework buddy to clarify the homework 
assignments.
