All About Me

      Hi all!  I am Mr. Step and I couldn't be happier to be coming back for 
my fourth year at Hynes.  Having grown up in this area, I know what a 
wonderful place it is to live and work.  I consider myself very lucky to 
have found a home in such a wonderful district.  
      I was actually born in Skokie, where I attended Old Orchard Junior 
High before moving on to Niles North High School.  After high school, I went 
to Illinois State University where I earned my degree in elementary 
education.  I have since moved back and would love to someday raise a family 
here.  On that note, you may have noticed the beautiful woman standing next 
to me in the picture above.  She is my lovely wife Lora.  This is us on our 
anniversary trip to Mexico this summer.  
      Now, for my White Sox.  A season of ups and downs, but we are still in 
first place.  Let's hope we make a nice run to get in to the playoffs.  Go 
Sox!
