World Geography

Course Overview:

    Geography is a study of where people, places, and things are located.  Students will also examine the people of the world and their distinct cultures, history, and economies.  We will also focus on world events of today.

Grades:    VARIED POINT SYSTEM= TOTAL POINTS EARNED

60% Daily Work (quizzes, daily writing, bell-ringers, notebook checks, class activities)

40%  Chapter Exams & Special Projects

Make-up Work: 

Students are responsible for make-up work when absent.  Ask teacher

for missing assignments at the beginning of class.

Tardies:  Handled strictly by school policy
