Winter Forest Materials: Elmers glue Brush Scissors Tissue paper (a variety of colors and greens) Brown tempera paint Poster board cut into a two inch square Back ground paper (white) Tag board works better but any paper will do.
Begin by cutting the green tissue paper into triangles. Mix a tablespoon of elmers with about 3 tablespoons of water (this is approximate exact measurements not needed) Brush the entire paper with the elmers glue solution. Place the triangle trees onto the paper and be sure to overlap. Use other colors to add the ground below the trees. Use the elmers glue mixture to brush over the top of all the tissue paper. Let dry Using the brown paint and a piece of poster board dip the edge of the poster board into the brown paint. Dab onto the paper to make trees. Add undiluted elmers around the sky and ground in lines. (you can draw straight from the bottle) Shake the glitter on and shake off. If you don’t want the glitter to stick to the paint you will need to let the brown paint dry first.

A Snow Scene Materials: Tagboard or poster board Black construction paper chalk (colors) white colored pencil or crayon pencil white tempera paint a stiff brush or toothbrush
These were done by cutting a piece of tagboard into a oval. The oval is then traced with a pencil onto the black paper. Using a white colored pencil or crayon draw a design on the black paper with in the outline of the oval. Take the tag board oval and color on the edges with the chalk. Place the tag board onto the design and rub the chalk of onto the black paper. Use more than one color if desired. Remove the tag board. Using a tooth brush or stiff paint brush dip it into the tempera paint and rub the brush so the paint sprinkles on the paper to look like snow. Let dry.
