This is my 17th year of teaching, and in that time I have taught children
in grades one through six in Oregon, Virginia, and Maryland. I have
Bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Computer Science, a
Master's degree in Human Relations and Supervision, and am certified by the
National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. I have two sons--my
older son is 26 and graduated from the University of Maryland; he is an
accountant. My younger son is 24 and graduated from the University of
Maryland with a degree in Finance. I also have two cats, Max and Louie;
they're only three, so they have not yet gone to college. I love to
incorporate music and drama into our areas of study.
To create a classroom environment that is warm and inviting, and one that
inspires children to be invested in their own learning.
