Welcome to the 2011-12 School year!  Bring in all supplies and organize your
notebook accordingly.  Mrs. Peterson and Mr. Jackson welcome you with open hearts!

2/8:  Complete the angles worksheet from class today. 

2/6: Worksheet pg. 26

2/3:  Practice worksheet 8-7

2/2:  Finish the work sheet on bisectors from classwork if you didn't finish
it in class. Get your test signed.

1/30:  Test on Wednesday on 6.1, 6.2 or 6.3 from the math notebook.

1/25:  Worksheet 8-1 (Due Friday).  Complete both sides of the worksheet.

1/19:  Update on yesterday's homework-  Please complete all of it.  Don't stop
at #10!

1/18:  Complete 1-10 on the triangles worksheet given out today by Friday.

Jan. 17 -- No homework

Jan. 13 -- Quarter 2 Assessment

Jan. 12 -- Quarter 2 Assessment

Jan. 11 -- Quarter Assessment Tomorrow -- STUDY, STUDY, STUDY!!!

Jan. 10 -- STUDY, STUDY, STUDY--Quarterly Assessment on Thursday/Friday

Jan. 9 -- Review Packet due tomorrow(Tuesday)/ STUDY, STUDY, STUDY!!!

1/6:  Continue to work on packet and get your test signed!

1/5:  Complete the Middle School Math I Midterm Review packet back Tuesday,
January 10th that you started in class after your test today.  The Quarterly
Assessment will be on Thursday, January 12th and Friday, January 13th.

1/4:  Study for tomorrow's test on Equations.

1/2/12:  Complete worksheet p. 60

12/22:  Get your test signed by your parent!

12/19:  Begin studying for Wednesdays test on Order of Operations and
Evaluating Expression.  If you didn't get a perfect paper on 1:2 handed back
today please make the corrections.

12/14:  Get your test signed and p. 18 #8-17 (Due on Friday)

12/8:  Complete the worksheet on integers.  Study for your super 6!

12/7:  P. 438 #9-22

12/6:  P. 436 #14-35 answers only okay.  Get test signed

12/1:  Study for tomorrow's test on Discount and Taxes (may include tipping)

11/29:  Due Thursday:  Worksheet p. 76.

11/17:  Study for your test on proportions and percent of a number.  Remember
that the word of in a percent means to multiply.  

11/15:  Study for your test on ratios, rate, and proportions.

11/14:  Page. 342, 9-22. 

11/10:  Complete worksheet SG 8-3.

11/9:  Complete worksheet 34 on Problems using proportions

11/7:  Complete the bargains worksheet

10/31:  Continue studying for your quarterly assessment tonight.  Tomorrow is
the last day to finish the assessment or make up a part if you have been
absent.  Bring a book or hw to class to read or work on when you finish the test. 

Week of 10/24 to 10/30:  Study for your Quarterly assessment on everything
from the 1st quarter (especially exponential and standard form,  Mult. and
Division of decimals, all fractional operations,  Comparing numbers, and the
Distributive Property).

10/18:  Get your test signed. 

10/17:  Complete the worksheet on comparing and listing decimals and fractions
from least to greatest. 

10/13:  Study your notes and work handed back to you for your tomorrow's test.

10/12:  Study for your test on Friday.  The test will cover Multiplication of
Fractions.

10/11:  p. 575 Lesson 7-3  #6-19. 

10/7:  p. 278,  #22-30 and POTW #2 is due on Tuesday.

10/5:  p. 332  #11-20 and 25-32 (due Friday)

10/4:  POTW #2 was given out and will be due on 10/11.

10/3:  Study for your fractions test tomorrow.  POTW #1 is due tomorrow. 

9/30:  Test on Tuesday on Addition and Subtraction of Fractions.  Please study
your notes and work and do some practice problems. 

9/28:  Complete p. 252 #17-26.  Due Fri.  POTW #1 is due 10/4. 

9/26:  Complete the worksheet on Mix numbers (Due Wed)

9/23:  P. 248 #12-17

9/22:  P. 244 #10-17

9/21:  Complete worksheet 6-3 (many worked on or finished in class)

9/20:  P. 240  #11-22

9/19:  Study for your Division of Decimals Test on tomorrow.  

9/15:  Due tomorrow-  P. 154 #11-16

9/13:  Get your test signed by your parent and Complete p. 567 L4-5,  #1-4
(this is due on Thursday, 9/15)

9/12:  If you didn't finish your quiz in class today,  then use the time
tonight to study more on multiplication of decimals.

9/6:  P. 566-  Lesson 4-3, #1-9.  (Due on Thursday  b/c we didn't finish it on
Tuesday)

8/30:  Bring a spiral or composition notebook to class by next Tuesday (9/6).
