Intramural Sports & HS Roundup!
There will be a new Intramural Football/Basketball (Spring 2012 league
starting on Tuesday, February 21st. When the weather is above 45 degrees and
clear we will be playing football outside. When the weather does not
cooperate the above measures, we will play basketball indoors in the gym.
Congratulations to the Lighthouse Lions for being the 2012 SBL Intramural
Basketball Champion!
Intramural Basketball is scheduled for Tuesday, January 24th and the
tournament and championship for the top 4 teams is scheduled for Tuesday,
January 31st! No games on Thursday, January 26th!
Intramural Basketball starts on Tuesday, January 10th and will meet on
Tuesdays and Thursdays through January 26th. Note: There will not be a
session on Tuesday, January 17th.
Congratulations to River Hill HS for being the 3A State Champs in MD HS football.
Congratulations to River Hill for making it to the semifinals and finals for
the MD State HS playoffs.
Intramural Card Playing on Tuesdays through December 20th.
Congratulations to River Hill, Atholton and Glenelg for making it to the 2nd
round of the hs playoffs.
Congratulations to River Hill, Atholton, Glenelg and Howard for qualifying for
the HS Football Playoffs.
Intramural Soccer: Starts on Thursday, October 27th and will run on Tuesdays
and Thursdays through Nov. 10th. On cold and rainy days we will meet in the
gym and play indoor soccer. On warm days we will be on the football field.
Please make sure your ride picks you up between 4:30-4:45.
Intramural Football for 10/4 has been switched to 10/6 for important family
business. Sorry about the change. Thursdays times will be the same.
Intramural Football starts on September 20th. Make sure that Mr. Jackson has
your permission forms by Monday, September 19th or you can't participate on
the first day of football.
