2/9:  Complete AYR 3:2

2/8:   Test corrections and signature, 3:1 Questions need to be finished,
Check Aspen, and Thursday HWDIR?3:1

2/7:  AYR 3:1,  Copy & Answer 1,2,3 on self test, 1 sentence each explaining
what happened on "interactive" with slump, creep, mudflow, landslide.

2/3:  Study for Monday's test and finish your classwork.

2/2:  Complete 2:3 Questions, Study for HWDIR? 2:3.  Study for Test on Monday-
Chapter 2 (sections 1-3). 

2/1:  AYR 2:3

1/31:  Complete lab-  lab due on Wednesday, Complete questions 11-23, Wed-
HWDIR? 2:2

1/30:  Complete Questions 2:2  #1-10 only.  Finish lab and Study sheet signature.

1/25:  Complete AYR 2:1.  Read over the lab and be prepared for it tomorrow.

1/24:  Should have bought the new book home to stay and if you haven't return
the old book. 

1/19:  Return "Inside Earth" Book

1/18:  Get those parents signatures on the test if you didn't turn them in
today.  Continue to study for tomorrow's last day on the quarterly assessment.

1/17:  Get your parent signature on your test.  Continue to study for
tomorrow's Quarterly assessment.

1/12:  Complete AYR 3:1, Complete the questions from 3:1 #1-9 if you didn't
finish in class, and a reminder that your paragraph on any famous Volcano is
due tomorrow.  Continue to study for your Quarterly Assessment next Wednesday. 

1/11:  Research-  1 paragraph on any famous volcano past or present. 

1/6:  Complete the questions for 5:6, study for the HWDIR?, Complete the rock
lab internet activity (See 1/5), and continue to study for Tuesday's Chapter 5
Test. 

1/5:  AYR 1:6, and make sure you turn in the rock lab and it's write up by
tomorrow if you haven't finished. Remember to continue to study for next
Tuesday's test.  Go to links to
see the Rock Cycle link on my web page for help on today and tomorrow's
classwork that will be due on Monday, January 9th.  

1/3:  Complete 5:5 Questions and there will be a HWDIR? on 5:5 tomorrow.  Test
on Chapter 5 will be on January 10th.

1/2/12:  Get your parent to sign the test study sheet and complete As You Read
5:5.

12/22:  Do Any 5 Rocks. a follow-up activity that will involve doing a bit of
research on the rocks we looked at in the lab. There's a very helpful website
that you can use on the "links" section of this website.  

12/21:  Complete Questions on 5:3 and study for HWDIR?

12/20:  Complete AYR 5:3

12/19:  Complete Questions 1-14 on 5:2.  HWDIR? 5:2 on Tuesday, 12/20

12/16:  Complete AYR for 5:2

12/15:  Check Aspen for grades 

12/14:  Complete 5:1 Questions and Study for Thursdays HWDIR?

12/13:  Complete AYR 5:1 and get your test signed.

12/12:  Define Inorganic

12/8:  Study for tomorrow's Test!

12/7:  Study for Friday's Chapter 4 Unit Test, complete 1:5 Questions and be
prepared for the quiz on HWDIR? 1:5 tomorrow.

12/6:  Pangaea Poster reminder-  due tomorrow

12/5:  Questions for 1:4 due and be prepared for HWDIR? 1:4 quiz

12/2:  Continue to answer Questions 2,3, and 4 from the Pangaea Poster if you
haven't completed them yet.  The Poster will be due on Wednesday, Dec. 7th.

On Monday, December 5th-  AYR 1:4 and the Parent signature on the Study Sheet
is due.

Finally, begin studying that sheet and your notes for next Friday's test on
Unit I of the Inside Earth Unit.

12/1:  Complete work on Questions 2,3, and 4 of your Poster project on
Continental Drift.

11/30:  Complete the Questions and be ready for HWDIR?3

11/28:  AYR 1:3.  Study for HWDIR?

11/21:  Complete your poster if you didn't turn it in today.

11/17:  HWDir? 1:2 will be on Friday or Monday. Finish your questions and
poster if you
haven't completed it yet.

11.16:  AYR 1:2.  Posters will be due by 11/22.  Feel free to turn them in on
11/21.  

11/14:  Research for the captions on your poster.   

11/10:  Finish the questions for HWDIR 1:1.  Remember there will be a quiz
tomorrow. 

11/9:  1:1 Questions and bring in materials to work on your poster

11/8:  AYR 1:1

11/3:  Bring your textbook to class

From 10/31:  For Monday, make sure your 3:2 questions on Storms is complete.
(due Tuesday)
Keep reviewing the questions for the county science assessment on Wednesday.

REMINDER: COUNTY ASSESSMENT WILL BE ON WEDNESDAY, 11/2!  You can use the study
guide completed in class. 

10/28:  Finish 3:1 questions if you didn't finish in class. 


From 10/26:  Study for your Quarterly assessment that will take place on Nov.
2nd and 3rd. 

Career Project is Due on Monday, 10/24.
As You Read Notes for section 3:1 is due on Tuesday, 10/25.

10/18:  AYR 2:5, Study for Thursday's test and continue to work on your
Science research project.

10/17:  Study for Thursday's Science Test on Chapter 2. 

10/14:  Study sheet signature if you forgot to turn it in today,  keep working
on your research that is due 10/24, and complete 2:4 questions (#1-12), and
Quiz on HWDIR? on Monday. 

10/13:  Choose your research topic (if not already done), Research project is
due on 10/24, AYR 2:4, and get the student sheet signed by your parents. 

10/12:  Finish the 2:3 questions.

10/11:  Complete the AYR for 2:3 and study for the quiz on HWDIR? 2:3.  Get
your test signed if you haven't done it yet.  

10/7:  2:2 Questions #1-9 and study for 2:2 quiz that will take place on Monday. 


10/6:  Complete AYR 2:2.

10/5:  Signature on your returned tests, test corrections (written out on
loose leaf paper),  2:1 questions #1-13, and 2:1 quiz on Thursday. 

10/4:  Complete AYR 2:1 and ask your parents/guardians about why the sky is
blue.  

9/30:  Study for your test that will be on Monday,  1:4 questions (#1-17), and
Friday 1:4 HWDir?     The test is on all of Chapter 1 (Sections 1-4).

9/28:  Test date change!  From Friday to Monday, October 3rd.   Complete 1:4
questions if you didn't finish in class and Friday there will be a 1:4 HWDir

9/27:  Complete an AYR 1:4 and write an answer on a piece of paper of why you
think the paper held to the bottom of the cup of water, even after it was
turned over. 

9/26:  Study for Friday's test on Chapter 1,  1:3 Questions #1-15, Think Cap
#7, and HWDIR?  1:3 on Tuesday.  

9/23:  Anticipation Guide and Study Guide Parent Signature

9/22:  As You Read Notes for Air Pressure.Those are due
Friday. On Friday we'll be jammin' with Toots and the Maytals with "Pressure
Drop." For homework you need to get a signature on the study guide for the
upcoming test next week (worth 10 homework points), and complete the
"Anticipation Guide" for our eggcellent investigation (due Monday).

9/20:  Complete Questions 1:2  #1-12 and study for the quiz on 1:2.

9/19:  Complete reading section 1:2 and complete the As You Read on Air Quality.

9/16:  Complete Review and reinforce

9/15:  Complete 1:1 questions, Complete Sonic Rocks lab, and study for 1:1
Quiz  "HWDIR" (How well did I read).

9/14:  Complete your lab question sheet tonight. 

9/13:  Safety posters are due tomorrow.  Complete As You Read 1:1

9/12:  Complete your lab safety poster.  We will not work on it in class
anymore.  Please finish your defn paper started in class during the last few
minutes (Match 2 problems).  

9/8:  Complete Recognizing Lab Saftey and What we're about 1st quarter with
weather and climate.  Take your book home and keep it there. 

9/7:  Complete Contract questions  R1-13.

9/6:  Finish 1-15 Vocabulary and Finish the lab. 

9/2:  Find 6 more vocabulary words to complete from your science vocab list.

9/1:  From Mr. Baranson and Mr. Jackson's class:  Get your parent signature on
your safety contract.  Return all 3 copies.

8/31:  Get your folders/papers signed, complete the penny problem questions
and get your expectations signatures signed.
