Hello! Bonjour!
This year is my official return to the classroom after having taken a leave
of absence to be at home with my children. Before taking leave, I taught at
Burleigh Manor Middle for 9 years. Now my girls are starting school, and I'm
back to school myself!
I have a BS from Vanderbilt University (go Commodores!) and a Masters from
McDaniel College. I studied French in Aix-en-Provence (the sunny south of
France) through a college program, and I spent some time specifically
studying French West Africa. I am very excited to be teaching both French
and social studies (two marking quarters of which are devoted to Africa!).

To learn the four communication skills of reading, writing, speaking, and
listening in the French language.
To learn about the French speaking world.
Mission for social studies:
To learn about the general geography of our world and to learn about the
cultures and countries of Africa and Asia.
