Birthdays are an exciting time in our classroom! Below are a few classroom policies and procedures regarding birthdays:

I will schedule your child to bring snack as close to their actual birthday as I can! Look for the "birthday icon" on the snack calendar to see the day I plan on celebrating their birthday in class.

If you send a special snack for a birthday treat, please send all necessary items with it- napkins, plastic silverware, and plates. I do not always have these items in stock in class.

Please do not send birthday party invitations to school unless the whole class is invited. This is a school policy to help avoid hurt feelings.

On your child's birthday...

They will get a "birthday book" made by their classmates! It's a special treasure that the kids really look forward to.

They will receive a "Birthday Pencil" from me.

They will get to keep our "Birthday Hamster" on their desk for the day. He's a little cute critter that sings "Happy Birthday" and dances when Mrs. Bainbridge isn't talking!

We will sing them a mixed up birthday song that they organize themself!

They will get to wear a sparkly birthday sticker, so everyone will know it is their birthday and the whole school can celebrate along with us!
