After graduating college in 2004, I taught
preschool for two years in Centreville. This is my 4th year at White Pigeon
and I am thrilled to be a part of such a caring community of educators. In all
my experience, I have never been in a school where all staff members are truly
committed to the success of every student. I am so proud to be a Chief!
I am highly qualified to teach all
subjects in Kindergarten-5th grade, and all subjects in Kindergarten-8th grade
in a self-contained classroom. I am also highly qualified to teach English and
science in grades 6-8. I am currently working on my Master's Degree in Reading
and Literacy studies through Marygrove College in Detroit... I will be
finished in December 2009! I am so excited about learning these new skills and
growing as a teacher of reading!
My husband and I live in Centreville with
our two dog-sons, Sam and Squeaks!

My mission for the class
I believe that all children have talents
and abilities unique only to them. It is my responsibilty as a teacher to use
these talents and abilities to enhance the learning of all students. I have
very high expectations for my students and hope that students and families
have high expectations for me as well. My mission for the class is for each
child to learn and have fun doing it. We will follow our rules every day to
ensure success and safety for everyone! Want to know why I LOVE 2nd
