Dear Parents,
We are in the middle of the school year. The children and I are in a great routine and are looking forward to preparing ourselves to become 4th graders.
We need your help. Please make sure that you are checking your child's backpack every evening. Important notes as well as their homework is sent home daily. Some of the children are not returning any homework. The homework assignments are designed to reinforce concepts we are learning in class and also to help the students gain a sense of responsibility. Thank you for your help in making sure that homework is getting completed and returned.
Also, spelling lists come home each Monday. Please help your child study these words a little each night. The spelling scores are not as good as they have been in previous weeks. I would like to see those scores go up!
