In Room 305 it
is expected that students follow the school wide behavior matrices. Our
classroom rules reflect these as well. No "Monkey Business" will be tolerated.
The rules for Room 305 are:
Be Safe
Be Kind
Be Responsible
Since our classroom theme is Survivor this
year, our behavior management system will fit the theme.
In our classroom there will be no "monkey
business". Students will each have their own monkey on our behavior board.
Each day students will start with 3 bananas on their monkey. Each time they
make a wrong behavior choice they will lose a banana.
The consequences for losing the bananas
are:

The first few weeks of school we will
discuss each of the three rules of our classroom and our school. We will talk
about what each rule means and what it looks like. By spending time at the
beginning of the year going into detail about what is expected in our
classroom, I hope and my experience is that it makes for a very smooth year in
the classroom. :o)
