Parents and Students!
We are currently working on chapter 3 in our textbook. Our studies include
the English Colonies and what it was like in colonial North Carolina. As
part of this unit students will create a brochure on the colony of their
choice. An assignment sheet went home Monday, October 19th and the final
copy is due November 3rd. Research will be done in class to get students
started, however, students will need to find additional details and
illustrations on their own.
The colony brocure does not have to be created on the computer and artwork
may be hand drawn. The final copy should be presented in an acceptable and
neat version using the student's best effort.
We take our test on Chapter 3 p. 66-99 on Thursday, October 29th. We will
review in class on October 28th and students are responsible for being
prepared to earn a quiz grade during our class review on 10/28.
