NEWS from 2 Clair 11/02/09
READING: We are working on writing skills. We will be continuing our
reading in Theme 2 next week.
SPELLING: There will be no spelling test next due to the short week. We
will still be working with our spelling words in class.
MATH: We will be finishing our chapter on Addition Strategies next week.
Our test will be on Wednesday. our next chapter is about subtraction
strategies.
SCIENCE: Our next chapter focuses on different kinds of habitats.
We will be working on several fun projects during the chapter.
SOCIAL STUDIES: We have finished our first unit and will be starting
Unit 2 after we finish our current Science unit.
ENGLISH: We are learning about nouns.
NEXT WEEK:
- No school on Thursday and Friday Nov. 5 and 6
- UNICEF boxes and information will come home on Oct. 29th.
