How can I join the Diversity Council?

The Diversity Council meets once a month.  The easiest way to get involved 
is to attend a meeting.  Meeting dates are posted on the Calendar Page of 
this website.

What is a Book Talk?

A Book Talk is a group of students, staff, parents and guests from the 
senior center getting together to discuss a book. A teacher interested in 
scheduling a Book Talk should contact Trish LaDuca with the date. Snacks are 
usually provided. Look for a list of currently scheduled Book Talks on the 
Calendar Page of this website.

How can I get a set of books, on issues of diversity, to use with my class?

If you are interested in a set a books listed on either the Book Talk - 
Elementary" or the "Book Talk - Secondary" level pages, contact the Media 
Center at the school listed next to the title of the book (if no school is 
listed, contact Jill Ventrice at jventrice@ebnet.org.) and let them know 
which book you would like to borrow.
