What Have We Learned?
We have learned the colors red, yellow, green, blue, purple, orange, brown
and black.
We will continue working on the letters we have learned this week. We will
also learn the sight words "go" and "they".
We are counting by ones, twos, fives and tens. This week we are learning about
the "teen numbers" and "tricky teen" numbers.
We learned how to estimate in math.
We have learned the letters "M", "S", "F", "B".
We are continuing to work on our writing and reading.
We have learned the sight words:
a I to go
see the like they
We are continuing to work on using descriptive words to make our journals
interesting. We are making our own booklets about different topics.
We have library Monday for the morning class and Wednesday for the afternoon
class. We will start to check out books in October. They will be due back the
following week.
