Ø Place the words “Works Cited” (without the quotes) at the top of the page.
Ø Set all margins to 1”
Ø Double-spaced the entire page.
Ø The first line for each citation sets up on the left margin; additional lines are indented five (5) spaces.
Ø List citations in alphabetical order.
Ø Write dates in this format: day month year Example: 4 January 2004.
Ø When more than one copyright (year of publication) date is given, use the most recent date.
Ø When more than one place of publication is given, use the first one listed.
Ø Type “ED.” (without the quotes) before the name of an editor. Example: ED. David Smith
Ø If there are 2 or 3 authors or editors, type all the names. Example: Smith, Joseph, Tom Keys, and Ann Wu.
Ø If there are more than 3 authors or editors, type the first author or editor’s first and last name followed by “et al.” (without the quotes)
Ø If you use several web pages from the same web site – write one citation for the web site.
