RESPECT
By: Kathlyn

Respect is about being kind and generous to other people besides
being a terrible person. Respect is a nice thing to have. It includes being
really nice to that person, paying attention to your teacher, and knowing
that what you are doing is respectful. Mostly you need to be like a good
friend and not being a mean bully. It hurts other peoples’ feelings when
you’re bullying them, calling them names, pushing them, tripping them, and
hitting them. All you have to do is be a person, but not a bully. Respect is
mostly what you mostly need to know. If you get caught bullying you will
either get caught by a parent or a teacher/principal.

Respect means to not talk when others are talking. Also you should share so
you do not start a fight with somebody. Examples of respect are that you are
listening, not bullying anybody, and paying attention to your teacher when
she is teaching. Examples of disrespect is talking when others are talking
not paying attention during class and bulling others.

What does the word respect mean to you? I’ll tell you what it means to me.
For me respect means to listen to someone and give others a chance to speak.
In school I respect my teacher by stop talking when she is doing her job and
trying to teach us. At home I respect my family by listening to what they are
trying to tell me. It isn’t polite to disrespect your elders and relatives.
Respect also means being kind to everybody. Do not interrupt others when they
are trying to teach or talk. Don’t hurt anyone physically. It is not
respectful to do all these things. This tells others that you are not nice;
they will not want to be near you because you are not being respectful. This
is what respect means to me.

What does respect mean to you? Respect to me means to listen and be friendly
to the person your giving respect to. Here are some friendly things to do.
Share, give a complement, and do something helpful. When you want to give
respect to someone try to do one of those things. It is very important to
give respect. If you give respect, the person won’t be as mean to you. You
should listen to all adults that you know.

What respect means to you? Respect means to listen when people are talking or
showing something. It also means to not hurt people physically and not to
hurt their feelings. When you respect some one you make eye contact so they
know you are listening. It also means not to steel other people’s property.
On other ting is not to be selfish or rude. Most importantly is
not to bully others.

Respect means to me beingpolite. And also means give eye contact to the
person you are talking with. Being nice when you meet someone new. I also
think respect means letting other people playing with you. And sharing with
other people.

What does respect mean to you? Well it means to me that you should not speak
when someone else is speaking and not interrupt them. It means not to
hurt someone’s feelings and it means to compliment someone. You should not
hurt someone physically and emotionally because people might not want to be
your friend. Respect your parents, teachers, elders, and peers. Respect also
means you shouldn’t talk in a threatening tone of voice. Also you should keep
good eye contact for respect. Don’t disrespect anyone because they might not
respect you.

What does Respect mean to you? Well, to me Respect means to listen and try to
be as friendly as I can. You should listen to not only your parents, but to
your teachers too. You can be friendly by being nice, not bullying, and
sharing your things. Respecting people is very important. This is what
Respect means to me.

Respect is when you give the person you are talking to eye contact. Also
respect can be when you give someone a compliment or not to talk when someone
is talking.
If someone gets their feelings hurt you have to be kind to them. Talk to
people with a friendly tone of voice. Also if someone needs a crayon you
should share and care with them.
