We began the day with the students taking notes as we read over Chapter 1 on
Light in our Science books.
After Art, in Language Arts, the students took this week's Spelling pretest.
Then, the class worked on their writing and illustrating of a family memory.
In Math, before lunch, the students listened to the story "Pigs Will Be
Pigs!". While listening, they kept track of the money amounts the pigs were
collecting in the book. They then had to total the amount of money to see if
their answer agreed with the one in the story.
After lunch, in Math, the class practiced counting money and using the least
amount of coins and bills to make different money amounts.
During 8th period, in Social Studies, the class did 2 worksheets reviewing
longitude and latitude.
