Welcome back! This week...
...in Math, we will continue with daily Spiral Review problems and Mad Minute
Math (30 subtraction problems each day). We will also review estimating sums
& differences, with a quiz on Tuesday. Later in the week, the class will
practice adding & subtracting large numbers & money amounts.
...in Language Arts, we will continue to read & summarize "Charlotte's Web",
as well as answer questions about the story & define vocabulary words. In
Grammar, we will distinguish between common & proper nouns. And, in
Spelling, this week's list will consist of words with the same vowel sounds
found in "put" and "out".
...in Science, we will continue to learn about light, particularly reflected
and refracted light.
