Writer's Workshop

Each morning we begin our day with a writer's workshop. At this time, we learn new strategies for becoming better writers. Each student will have a writer's notebook that will be filled with many interesting entries. We will be using the 6+1 Traits Writing Format to encourage good writing. When we are ready to begin story writing, we will learn how the Narrative Writing Diamond can keep us organized.
