Continent Day
On October 19, the third grade
celebrated Continent Day.
We visited each other's classes
on our trip around the world. |
Visiting South America
Our first stop was the continent
of South America in Mrs. Hennig's
room. The students did the Conga
and munched on nachos. |

|
An African Safari
Mrs. Rinella took our class on an
African safari. Afterwards they
made African jewelry. |

|
An Asian Experience
In Miss Pilcher's room we visited
the continent of Asia. Doesn't
Miss Pilcher look cute in her
kimono? |

|
A European Tour
Back in our classroom, we
backpacked across Europe. We
learned about famous landmarks
such as Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower
and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. |

|
Backpacking Across Europe
While visiting Europe, we played
a game. We collected souvenirs
of our trip. We saw Buckingham
Palace, rode a gondola in Venice,
and skiied the Swiss Alps. |

|
The Feast
We ended the day with a feast of
European foods prepared by our
parents. There were English
scones, Italian pastries, French
croissants, and Polish cookies. |
