Book Report Projects

Throughout the school year, we will be doing various genre studies. Book report projects will be assigned to be completed at home. Our first genre study will be traditional literature. This includes, folk tales, fairy tales, and fables. These are stories that teach a lesson.

Our first book report is due the week of October 22. Students are to read a fiction chapter book. Then they are to decorate a can to resemble a character or setting from the book. They must present their report to the class. For more information and a rubric on this report, click .
