I have been a teacher at Ridgeway School since September 1984. I grew up
in Manchester Township, and attended the Whiting and Ridgeway Elementary
Schools. I graduated from Manchester High School in 1980. I have a
Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Glassboro State College and a
Master's Degree from Georgian Court College in Educational Administration. I
moved back to Manchester in 1998 with my husband, Dave, and my two
daughters, Kendall and Casey. Kendall is currently in the 8th grade, and
Casey is in 5th grade at M.T.E.S.
I love to have fun! Along with teaching, my favorite things to do are
spend time with my family and friends, go shopping, and read! I love to
listen to satellite radio, my favorite station being Channel 13, Elvis
radio. Elvis Presley is my absolute favorite singer! There has not been a
singer since that can hold a candle to him, and before the year is up, I
will make Elvis fans of all my students!
In first and second grade, a child learns to read. In third grade a child
reads to learn!
My goal is for all students to learn in a fun way, to work hard, and become
model citizens.
