Hello!
I am hoping that everyone had a great Thanksgiving, and that you are
enjoying the extra long weekend!
This week we are back to business in Reading! Our Pilgrim Book Clubs have
finished, and everyone did a great job participating in our Book Club
discussions! This week, we will go back to the series when we read
Tornado Alert. In this non-fiction selection, we will learn about how
tornados form and how to keep safe from these dangerous storms.
In Math, we will begin working on telling time and calculating elapsed time.
In addition, we will continue to work on multiplication.
We are almost finished with our Colonial Life unit in Social Studies! On
Dec. 10th, we will be having Colonial Day. Check your child's homework
folder for more information this week!
If you volunteered to be a Mystery Reader in our class, thank you! If you
haven't yet, and would still like to, please let me know! We will be
starting Mystery Readers this week, and will run through the month of
December.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to
contact me.
