GRADING

POINT SYSTEM:Your grades will be based on a point system.  Each assignment, test, or quiz will be worth a certain number of points.  When you receive graded work back from me, it will indicate the number of points you received and the total number of points available for the assignment:

Points you Received/Points Available = Your % Grade

LATE ASSIGNMENTS:  If you turn in an assignment late, a percentage will be deducted for each day the assignment is late, as follows:

Q: Do we get Class Participation grades??

A:  Yes! You will receive a chart early in the marking period detailing what I look for in your class participation.  You may also see me any time during office hours to get feedback on your class participation grade. You will then receive the final grade at the end of the marking period.
