This is my second year teaching at the W.H. Lynch Literacy Academy. I am a
2001 Graduate of Fonda Fultonville High School. After high school I pursued
my Bachelors degree at U-Albany in History. I finished my Masters degree at
Sage Graduate School in May 2007. I enjoy running and kayaking, I am running
my third marathon this November in Philadelphia. I am also the Girls Cross
Country Coach and the Boys Track and Field Coach.
Students will maximize their potential skills to demonstrate their
comprehension of the substantial concepts, themes, movements, developments,
and turning points in American history. They will investigate and
examine the broad range of historical content from a variety of
perspectives. In addition, students will also be able to demonstrate their
understanding of geography and its impact on the development of America by
applying it to both in class activities and homework assignments. Students
will be able to make connections between historical events and their
influence on one another over the course of space and time in the history of
America.
