Enrichment teachers work with students at our elementary schools, to provide
a venue for students to extend their critical thinking skills. Working with
the classroom teachers, teachers develop lessons that address higher order
thinking skills. Students are provided with a variety of experiences that
address a variety of learning styles.
We also have School-wide Enrichment program at Fishkill Elementary, Fishkill
Plains Elementary, Sheafe Road, Brinckerhoff and Oak Grove Elementary where
the enrichment teachers work with students at all grade levels. The
enrichment teacher works very closely with the classroom teachers to foster
opportunities, for all students, to identify and nurture strengths and
abilities. Professional development opportunities are provided to the
teachers at these grade levels to assist them in creating a classroom
atmosphere that will support SEM initiatives. If you have any
