FRANKLIN ACADEMY JAZZ ENSEMBLE
Welcome and congratulations to the new members. We are going to have a great
year exploring and playing jazz.

This year we are beginning the year by exploring 10 great saxophone players
through their interviews with Downbeat magazine. These are not reflective
interviews but archival and articulate what the musicians were thinking at
that time.

dates.
I will collect all submissions on Sunday evenings @ 9PM. You may complete
the assignment ANYTIME after it is posted. I am only posting one assignment
at a time. New assignments will be posted on Wednesday mornings @ 8.
