About The Teacher

I graduated from SUNY Oneonta With a degree in Elementary Education and
received my masters from New Paltz. When I began teaching I started as a
kindergarten teacher, I then taught 3rd grade for a year and 2nd grade for
20 years. In 2001 I returned to kindergarten for two years and spent one
year teaching 1st grade. In 2005 I returned to Kindergarten and
implemented a full day program. I am thrilled with the full day program and
I am so excited to be working with your children this year. I am so lucky to
have a career I am so passionate about! I am blessed to be spending my days
doing something I love, and believe in.

Mission For The Class

The goal of kindergarten is to instill the love of learning in all students.
We will do this through active learning, participating with hands on
learning, and through first hand knowledge.

I am committed to making this year one of excitement, growth, and opportunity
both academically and socially. I will guide and encourage the children
celebrating each step of the way as they gain a love of learning, self-
confidence, and academic skills that form a foundation for continued success.
I will show the students school is a safe and consistent place to learn and
explore.
