I am thrilled to be your child's middle school math teacher !
Prior to becoming a teacher, I have 20 years experience in "corporate USA".
Since then, I have achieved my bachelor's degree in education, my master's
degree in education, and I have recently completed my second
master's degree in Educational Administration; all contributing to allowing
me to provide the best experiences for your child in the classroom.
I truly believe the work ethics I have developed throughout my life will
benefit your child. I often relate our math topics and
study habits to real life situations so that your child
will be inspired and motivated to learn.
This will be my tenth year at the middle school, and my goal is
to be part of helping your child to reach his or her
highest potential in math and other endeavors.

The mission in all my math classes is aligned with the
school district's goals.
First: to increase mathematical confidence and understanding
Second: to develop reading, writing, and expression in mathematics
Third: to encourage communication with parents and the community toward the
common goal of student performance.
I hope to create an environment that allows each child to feel comfortable
and safe; learning together and being able to make mistakes without
criticism, but with praise for effort. Each child is unique, will be
appreciated, and in the end, I hope to instill a desire to learn that
remains life-long.
