We will begin Unit 3 - "Animals" in math. The two chapters are on "Graphing"
and "Geometry and Fractions."
Although we are familiar with graphs, we will now identify more, less and
same amounts from pictographs, create graphs from using manipulatives and
gather data in response to questions given by the teacher and classmates
(i.e. class surveys.) We will also learn how to read/write tally marks to
help us count quicker by 5's and 10's.
