A comprehensive prevention/intervention program designed to prevent the
abuse
of alcohol and other drugs by fostering adaptive behaviors and healthy
lifestyles. These services include:
Individual and Group Counseling utilizing the interactional approach of
the "Mutual Aid Model"
Educational Programs using the latest research-based curricula that
incorporate skill-building activities for decision-making, problem solving,
socialization and resistance skills
Crisis Intervention and Referral
Psycho-educational Assessment and Evaluation
Assessment for Substance Abuse and Referral for Treatment Services
*Mrs. Messina is available at St. Denis/St. Columba school every Thursday
