Clarification: Our School is located in the Wappingers Central School
District. If Wappingers closes or has a two hour delay--we do, too. If any
other School District has a delayed opening or closes, and Wappingers remains
open, Saint Denis/Saint Columba School will be open. When Wappingers and the
other districts have a two hour delay, they will provide transportation to
our school on a delayed schedule, (i.e., the buses normally arrive at 8:00
A.M.--with a two hour delay, your children should be arriving by 10:00 A.M.).
Transportation will always be provided to our students when there is a
delay. If your District has a delay, there is sufficient reason to believe
road conditions are bad, and we ask that you not transport your child to
school but rather wait for the bus to bring your child to school.
