Is extra help offered?
Yes. Tuesday mornings 8:45 Be there!!!
What if I fail a test?
You can come for extra help and re-take it.
What if I forget my homework?
You will be tarred and feathered...Just kidding.
You can use HW passes or bring a note from home. ( Make it up the
next
night.)
What does DBQ stand for?
Document Based Questions.
The New York State test is in November.
Do we take an ELA and Math Assessment this year?
YES! We will be busy,busy,busy!
Will we do a class play?
Yes! In December.
What Class trips do we go on?
Old Bethpage Long Island Fair, Police Headquarters in Mineola,
Commerce
Plaza Mock Town, Hofstra Playhouse, Cradle of
Aviation, Stonybrook Museum,and possibly others...
Will there be a research project?
Yes! You will choose a state to research.
What novels will we read?
Bridge to Terabithia, Island of the Blue Dolphins, Tuck
Everlasting,
Holes, Wait 'Til Helen Comes, War With Grandpa, PLUS many
read alouds!
