Dear Parents,
Grade cards go home on Friday. Please bring back the Parent Teacher Conference forms that
were sent home on Friday.
Early Dismissal November 13 for grades K-6

Religion: We will finish the Unit on the Commandments on Friday.
Reading: We will be reading “Bremen Town Musicians” pp. 256-275 and other supplemental books.
Comprehension Skills: Author’s Purpose
Phonics: Plurals
High Frequency Words:
people, bought, pleasant, sign, shall, probably, scared
Vocabulary Words:
mill, robbers, excitement, monsters, musician
Amazing Words:
partnership, solution, survival, miserable, struggle, depend, familiar, insist
** Practice reading the High Frequency Words, Vocabulary Words, and Amazing Words
with your child so they will be able to pronounce the words as they read the stories.
Spelling: Plurals
note, notes, lunch, lunches, story, stories, tune, tunes, switch, switches, baby,
babies
Challenge Words: crumbs, supplies, centuries
Lang: Plural Nouns: . Plural Noun means two or more. Add s to most plural nouns. Add es when a
words ends with s, ch, sh, or x. Change y to i add es. Irregular plurals where you change the word to
mean more than one.
Math: 2 Digit Addition: Chapter 8
SS: Chapter 1 : Test next Tuesday November 10. Sign the study guide for bonus points.
