Mrs. Pertner is available to both students and their parents for support
regarding their acedemic pursuits at St. Paul High School. She is meeting
with Seniors for college information as well as career/major information and
taking the ACT or SAT test.
She is also available to meet with students regarding other issues that is
affecting their abilities to meet their full potential both at home and at
school. These issues might include topics such as self-esteem, anger
management, getting along with others, developing leadership skills,
transitioning from high school to college environments, and any other topics
that might come up.
She is also available to go into classrooms, at the request of other staff,
and conduct classroom session regarding any of the topics that are needed to
promote a respectful learning environment for all.
Mrs. Pertner can also be a source of referral to community counseling
agencies that may also support our students if the need is out of the school
counseling scope of practice.
