Concerning Marching Season:
- For all home games, band students need to report to the Harding Band
Room by 5:00 PM.
- Times for away games will be specific for each event depending on
travel time.
- Students ALWAYS take raincoats unless otherwise stated.
- Students ALWAYS wear the summer uniform under the regular uniform; when it
is cold, students may
wear thermal underwear like long johns, etc.. with the summer uniform.
- Students and parents are responsible for keeping the child's instrument in
good playing condition.
- All fees must be paid for a student to be able to go on a trip.
- Students must have at least a 2.0 during the grade period of a trip.
The week after, we only have one rehearsal which is mandatory for our second
game and three band nights, and teacher kick-off day (5 performances!!). I
hope cool heads will prevail and we can not get sick of each other by the end
of the 2nd game that week. At least there is a long weekend to recoup!
It is a good thing that school doesn't start till AFTER Labor Day!
Percussion - Also notice that Howland Night of Drums is Monday Sept. 13 @ 7:00
PM - be at Harding by 5:45 to get dressed and load the bus.
Band Nights: All Band students should report to the band room no later than
5:30 PM (6:00 FOR OUR BAND NIGHT) in summer uniform with black shoes. (Whites
socks for our band night and black socks for the away band nights.) You must
provide your own way to and from Harding for all performances. Use only
Entrance D for drop off and pick up. Parking for students should be in the
Athletic Parking lot located next to the gyms or the lower parking lot off of
Panther Drive. No one is to use the front entrance for drop off or pick up. I
am hoping you could pickup from Harding by 9:45PM for Band Nights. It could be
earlier! I suggest students calling when we get back in the building. A school
phone is available in the band room.

Warren City Schools Kick-Off: Use only Entrance D for drop off and pick up.

parking space since every teacher in Warren will parked there.�You must
provide your own way to and from Harding for all performances.�Summer Uniform
with whites socks and shoes. Be at Harding at 7:15 AM. The Superintendent
wants the band to stay the whole time and watch the presentation. I do not
think it will go past 9:30 AM. Students are welcome to eat a free continental
breakfast afterwards in the cafeteria or go home when it is over. Rest up
because we have a band night that night!
