About The Directors

     This is Mrs. Marlin's 15th year as Director of Bands at Warren G. 
Harding High School and her 35th year of  teaching music in Warren City 
Schools. A 1970 WGH alumnus, Mrs. Marlin earned her B.M. from the Dana School 
of Music, YSU, and her M. in Ed. from Marygrove College. 

     This is Mr. Rollo's 27th year teaching.  He is assistant band director 
and also the director of the jazz department.  Mr. Rollo also performs in the 
W.D. Packard Band. He is a 1975 alumnus of WGH, received his B.M. from YSU and 
his M.M. from Vandercook College.

Goals of the Program

1.  To offer to all high school students a variety of instrumental 
performing experiences.
2.  To teach students, through the medium of music, team and life skills 
that they will utilize throughout their lives.
3.  To expand their experiences and awareness of a variety of music.
4.  To teach children the importance of community and that they can make a 
difference.
